Arn-Identified Flying Objects and Alien Friends tells the world why ‘Love Will Prevail’

Initially starting off as a former member of the Swedish band Redmoon, Arn-Identified Flying Objects and Alien Friends is a solo project that emerged in 2020 and has now well and truly taken off with eyes firmly focused on the future.

The captivating new single ‘Love Will Prevail’ was released a year ago and made its way onto the ‘17 Birds at the Summer’s Gate’ debut album, released in May last year.

The concept for ‘Love Will Prevail’ was conceived amidst a nightmare some years ago where the artist received a phone call from his deceased sibling, warning him of an unsolved murder he was involved in. Lyrics such as “My dead brother was calling / He still was on the run" and "The weeds are growing like a chain of lies’’ adds to the mystery and darkness surrounding the single.

Musically, the instruments come together, creating a powerful shift in dynamics along with a diverse mixture of sound to intensify the raw emotion experienced from the very first note. The drums are played by Andreas Dahlback, who helps to push the song forward in between sections; enforcing its momentum and message that love will always overpower hate. The outro includes the frontman repeating ‘’Love will prevail’’ as the music slowly fades out to conclude the track.

Both the music and lyrics befittingly depict an accurate account of the current times in terms of its fluctuating dynamics. Both factors lead its audience down a corridor of ambiguity at a time when most of the world is crying for peace and clarity brought on by pandemic, war and humanitarian crises.

Be sure to stay tuned to Arn-Identified Flying Objects and Alien Friends’ social media pages for upcoming release dates and any future gigs as we get ready to kickstart the summer festivities which are on the horizon.
