Critically acclaimed indie-pop artist beabadoobee has announced the release of her sophomore LP 'Beatopia', alongside a string of UK&Ireland tour dates at the back end of this Autumn. Following on from her debut release 'Fake It Flowers', 'Beatopia' is set to be a fantastical exploration through the British song-writers mind as she reflects on the conceptual imagination of her seven-year-old self.
Bea has also released the debut single from the album, 'Talk', on which she noted: "I wrote 'Talk' just after my first album. I was obsessed with Tuesday because I thought it was the best night to go out; not too much chaos but just enough to have a good time. Generally, it’s about doing things that aren’t necessarily healthy or great for you, but you can’t help indulging. It’s like that unavoidable feeling that you get, that you can’t get rid of, and you know it’s bad, but you love it really, so you do it anyways.”
BEATOPIA (pronounced Bay-A-Toe-Pee-Uh) is due to be released on 15 July 2022 via Dirty Hit.
