YouTube sensation and rapper KSI has recently teamed up with ‘Little Bit Of Love’ singer Tom Grennan, collaborating on the new single ‘Not Over Yet’. The track was KSI’s initial release under Atlantic Records and is his first single since the release of ‘All Over The Place’ in 2021.
‘Not Over Yet’ begins as a heartbreak-inspired acoustic symphony before exploding into a drum and bass tune with fiery beats. Tom Grennan enters the track in the second verse with his impressive vocals, joining KSI in singing about heartache and the refusal to face the truth.
The song is tied together with a catchy chorus that describes the ups and downs of a relationship:
“Why you gotta tear my heart out? / Leave me in the rain / Why do I always tell myself that it’s not over yet?"
The single is accompanied by a music video which follows KSI leading up to a boxing match with the former version of himself - his own worst enemy. The video is fitting as KSI has recently announced his long-awaited return to the boxing ring with a headline fight against Alex Wassabi at the O2 in London on 27th August. The cinematic piece is guaranteed to get fans excited for his comeback.
‘Not Over Yet’ most definitely meets up with KSI’s infamous ‘won’t back down’ attitude, whether it’s about love or when he is in the ring. In fact, the track will be KSI’s ring walk tune. The single is sure to be a summer hit and we are very excited to see where KSI takes his career next.
