Princess Nokia Shows Her Angelic Voice with ‘Closure’

New York rap scene’s tomboy Princess Nokia surprises with a new pop-rock single ‘Closure’ and an entertaining music video.

Destiny Nicole a.k.a Princess Nokia shines with her distinctive style and songs amongst the other rappers. Although she has released perfect albums and mixtapes like ‘1992’ and ‘Metallic Butterfly’, she stayed underrated until her 2020 album ‘Everything Sucks’. From her style to lyricism and voice, she is the definition of the word rebellious. 

For her latest song Princess Nokia tries a new sound and gives the fans a vocal performance proving her musical skills even more. In this track, Nokia sings about a person she is in love with and expresses her feelings beautifully as she says: “You were meant to / Gift from the above /  I know who sent you / Were my perfect person and I loved you.” 

Her soft voice matches the wholesome lyrics and the melodic guitar riffs and the track ‘Closure’ stands out amongst the pop-rock releases of this year by far. She also gifts the listener with a party-themed, confident music video as her style evolution also reflects on her music videos. 

She closes the song by saying: “I wrote you this album for my closure” giving hints of an upcoming love-themed album. With her new single, Princess Nokia proves her consistency and talent outside of hip-hop too.
