‘Hooves’—Sir Chloe’s Beastly New Single

The indie-rock band Sir Chloe has sent fans whirling with anticipation with the issue of their new single ‘Hooves’ ahead of their new album, ‘I Am The Dog’, which is set to be released on the 19th of May.

After forming in 2017, Sir Chloe shot to fame in 2020 through their song ‘Michelle’ becoming a TikTok phenomenon. Made up of lead singer Dana Foote, her brother Palmer Foote as well as friends Teddy O’Mara and Austin Holmes—their music transports you into a dark, seductive place. ‘Hooves’ is amplified, electric, and grungy.

‘Hooves’ is a song you’d be playing on repeat as an angsty teenager. Its nineties rock meets early noughties alternative—what more could you want? Many fans were quick to show their excitement about the single, and who can blame them? It seems to have much more of an edge to it than their other work, it’s something you can dance around to into the early hours of the morning.

If this song is any indication of Sir Chloe’s upcoming album, then it will no doubt be a huge success. The band will be touring with Beck & Phoenix over the summer, but until then, the 19th of May couldn’t come fast enough!
