Lime Garden’s newest release - ‘Love Song’

Lime Garden have returned with their latest single ‘Love Song’. It’s just the beginning of their newest era of music, giving fans a taste of what is yet to come.

The band formed in 2017, originally staging themselves as LIME however later changing it after their move from Guildford to Brighton.

‘Love Song’ is quickly becoming one of their catchiest releases and presents similarities to songs from indie-rock icons such as girlinred and Wet Leg. Their music is undeniably quirky and suspenseful, the beat rises gradually with each tune. Through the power of their lyrics, the band have removed the rose-tinted glasses of being in love, been brutally honest about their love song opinions however their indisputable catchiness, “I hear them around and I can’t help but sing along”. 

There’s a sense of obsessiveness for your love, constantly wanting your partner around, no matter what, “As I walk, As I bleed, I wanna take you everywhere with me, As I cry, As I weep, I want you to know that you’re a part of me”.

This single provides a battle between two emotions, It’s fresh yet exceptionally nostalgic which just goes to show the incredible talent that Lime Garden possess, to be able to capture two polar opposite feelings in just a matter of minutes.

‘Love Song’ gives us just a taste of what is to come towards the end of 2023 for Lime Garden fans and for sure will have people coming back and begging for more.

So, what can we expect from the band in the next few months? More singles, live shows, a tour? We can only hope; but in the meantime, this latest track will definitely be on repeat.
