We may be crawling through the end of winter at the moment, but for music fan’s the count down is officially on. The 3 day festival taking place at Sheffield’s Hillsborough Park from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th July, have provided yet another amazing line-up. Featuring headliners such as Paolo Nutini, Jamie T and Snow Patrol. With the event bringing in over 40,000 fans each day, this is not a festival music fans want to be sleeping on.
If those names weren’t enough to entice you some other eye-grabbing acts that you can see supporting this years 16th edition headliners on The Sarah Nulty Main Stage include, Bombay Bicycle Club (Friday, sold-out), Tom Grennan and Holly Humberstone (Saturday), and Sheffield’s very own, The Human League (Sunday).
Also on this years line-up we can expect to see stellar performances from up-and-coming artists, such as English 21-year-old Nieve Ella, Balancing Act and NewDad. After releasing her latest EP ‘A life time of waiting’ and recently supporting the boys from Inhaler on tour in 2023, Nieve’s fan base only seems to be growing stronger and stronger. Her combination of talent, stage presence, and charm suggests that she has the potential to continue captivating audiences and making a name for herself in the music industry.
Rock/indie band, Balancing Act are a fellow Manchester based group on the up-and-coming, having their recent single ‘She Plays The Theremin’ aired on BBC radio 1’s future artists. The festival will be one of the band's first festival appearances, cementing their rise in the music scene. Being sure to see a lively and captivating stage presence from front man, Kai Roberts.
Fresh off their recent tour and the release of their new album 'MADRA', the established Irish group NewDad is gearing up to grace the stages of Tramlines festival. With a dedicated fan base already in place, their presence promises to electrify the event.
Tramlines is gearing up for an unforgettable long weekend with Paolo Nutini, Jamie T, Snow Patrol and friends, showcasing an extensive mixed bag of pop, rock, indie and alternative artists, both established and up-coming talent. Of course what would be Tramlines, with out its diverse and engaging attractions, for all ages - big or small. Among the comedy headliners at Tramlines are Lucy Beaumont, hailed as one of Hull's funniest, Angelos Epithemiou, Jon Richardson and many more. Starting in the afternoon each day, you can count on continuous laughter throughout, to break up your day.
