Rum Jungle Want To Go Where The ‘Weather’s Better’

Rum Jungle are an indie band from Newcastle, Australia, who mainly have an alt-pop discography. Following on from their incredible album ‘Hold Me In the Water’ released in 2023 comes their new incredible single ‘Weather’s Better’. According to their Spotify page the band “is an overall magnetic introspective hyper reflective state of mind”.

The track has a nostalgic quality to it and starts with a groovy drum beat and punk rock inspired guitar riff. The vocals in the song have hints of Australian twang which compliment the instrumental part brilliantly.

Rum Jungle finds “The weather's better with you” and this is a romanticised idea of the weather being better when spending time with someone that's special to you. The line is charming and supports the good vibes the band give off. It has surf rock vibes, sun soaked melodies and is the perfect end of summer track.

Rum Jungle has perfectly encapsulated the feeling of letting go and wanting to hold on to summer, and hang out with loved ones. ‘Weather’s Better’ is an incredible song to help the audience get through colder weather.
