The Harbours Release The Infectious ‘Locked In’

Formed in 2024 in Leicestershire, The Harbours consist of Ollie Drakard and Will Massarella-Tyler

Although newcomers to the indie rock scene, the duo have made a strong start with the release of standout tracks such as, ‘Out Of Sight’ and ‘So Sweet’.

Now, they return with their latest single, ‘Locked In,’ which delves into the youthful naivety of romance and desire as expressed through the lyrics, “I’m holding to my feelings / Just searching for the one / Look in my eyes and tell me I’m dreaming”. Driven by lively guitars, passionate vocals, and heartfelt lyrics, the song creates an infectious earworm that sweeps listeners into the heart of summer.

‘Locked In’ begins with a powerful, solitary bassline, soon joined by a crisp, rolling drumbeat that establishes a steady rhythm. After a brief pause, the track bursts into life with an energetic surge of guitars as the tempo quickens with purpose. Drayeward’s youthful vocals blend seamlessly with the instrumentals of ‘Locked In,’ delivering pop-infused elements reminiscent of The 1975 with lively rock surges of Foo Fighters and Catfish and the Bottlemen.

With ‘Locked In,’ The Harbours have created an infectious track that captures a youthful innocence and delivers a summery sound, sure to keep listeners hooked even during the darkest winter days.
