Introducing Victoria Park’s The Lido, London’s New Music Festival

This summer London will welcome a brand-new addition to its festival scene called The Lido, a highly anticipated event that promises to make a splash in Victoria Park. 

Set to take place in June this marks the festival's debut, but it's already generating serious buzz thanks to the team behind it who are the same masterminds who bring you All Points East Festival. The first year has a stellar line-up, prime location, and such a fresh approach; The Lido is shaping up to be one of the most exciting new festivals of the year and people are already looking forward.

The festival’s headliners are nothing short of impressive being Charli XCX taking centre stage for her first-ever UK festival headline performance. Charli’s brat trend last summer has hyped up fans for her appearance and excited for her loud pop anthems that will undoubtedly make for an unforgettable set and atmosphere. The other headliners will be Outbreak Fest, Jamie xx, and London Grammar, ensuring a diverse mix of electronic and experimental sounds suited for everyone. These acts and alongside a carefully curated selection of up-and-coming talent will for sure give festival-goers a little bit of everything and hopefully, all under what we can’t book, but hoping it will make an appearance, the sunshine. 

What’s particularly exciting about The Lido is its location in Victoria Park one of London’s most used green spaces. The park's central location makes it incredibly accessible for all whether you’re traveling from across the city or further afield. The urban setting also adds a unique vibe to the festival that combines the buzz of London with the laid-back spacious spirit of an outdoor event. 

With its super promising line-up and convenient location, the expectations for The Lido festival are super high. This first-year of the festival is set to become an essential part of London's summer festival circuit and if the buzz is anything to go by, The Lido will likely grow in both size and stature in the years to come.
