'Milk & Honey' Sees Polly Money Balancing Euphoria, Excitement and Escapism

As the third single from her upcoming EP, ‘Milk & Honey’ is Polly Money’s approach to new romances, and the concepts of self-exploration and discovery. Set to be released on March 20th this year, ‘T-Shirt Nothing Else’ is an EP that is already ramping up to be one full of fun, easy listening yet very impactful tunes.

Already released from the upcoming EP, alongside ‘Milk & Honey’, are 2024 releases ‘Anything’ and ‘i’m not proud, released not long after spending 18 months on the road with The 1975 as their live guitarist. Following on from the foundation laid by these previous tracks, Polly Money extends her signature of balancing bubbly and buoyant melodies with intricate and intentional words.

In this newest addition to her catalogue, the Cornish indie alt-pop artist refers to experiences of exploring the fear and thrill of a queer relationship. However, with such versatile wording, this song will beautifully transport every listener to a time where they have perhaps fallen in love, or even just a happier, more pleasant time.

The level of vulnerability that Polly Money has opened herself up to in this track is a risk that has successfully paid of. Fused with such versatility and vulnerability is the vibrancy that her vocals hold. ‘Milk & Honey’ is an addicting amalgamation of a memorable melody with lively wording. This cocktail of concepts has resulted in an ethereal escapade of emotional exploration that many listeners will really benefit from.
