Lucy Dacus Releases New Track ‘Talk’

Lucy Dacus recently added to her impressive discography with new single ‘Talk’, from her highly anticipated fourth album ‘Forever Is A Feeling’, set to release on Friday 28 March. 

The song begins in a slow-paced tempo which quickly gives way to driving drums, setting a compelling rhythm. The well-placed beat drops enhance its dynamic energy, keeping the listener engaged. Captivating, powerful vocals are displayed throughout this song by Dacus. 

Through poignant lyrics like “Why can't we talk anymore / We used to talk for hours,” the track reflects on a past relationship, capturing a sense of nostalgia and longing. The track shows the questioning of what went wrong in the relationship through the lyrics “Do I make you nervous or bored? / Or did I drink you to the last drop?”.
